Verity means truth or honesty, which is what we at Verity practice and believe in. The Aura and Tanya collections were started as legacies to leave behind by their father; something for them to be proud of.  
 
Tanya

Tanya graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology during the height of the pandemic, from a small liberal arts college in  California.. As she navigates the thrills and challenges of adulthood, she has her heart set on pursuing a PhD in clinical psychology with the hopes of better understanding severe psychopathology and helping people with mental Illnesses. She plans to eventually return home to India and build a mental health clinic in an effort to fight the stigma towards mental health that is still prevalent in Indian society.  
 
An aspiring minimalist, Tanya likes to plan everything carefully, making her a big fan of to-do lists. .. When she’s not throwing an amalgamation of random ingredients in a pot hoping to discover a new recipe, she enjoys reading trashy thrillers in beautiful parks and playing her new favorite sport - pickleball!.
 
Aura

Aura is a carefree soul and takes life as it comes. At the same time, she is not afraid to pursue her dreams relentlessly. In college, Aura started studying environmental science at a liberal arts college in India, inspired by her mother who always showed her the importance of having respect for the environment. Seeing this jewelry business kick off, her passion for design ignited, which led to her decision of minoring in design. After graduating , she hopes to design innovative ideas to scale up greener ways of producing energy in India, while working on bettering the country's waste management systems.
 
In her free time, she indulges in well-directed horror, science fiction media and thriller/mystery novels. Aura loves to cook, taking inspiration from the world around her. The techniques she brings to the table and her emotional connection to the dish ensure that what she cooks tastes as good as it looks!
